Statement on the sinking of the yacht Sea Story

The Seafarers’ Charity is saddened to note the incident in the Red Sea on Monday 25th November regarding the sinking of the yacht ‘Sea Story’.

Our thoughts are with all the crew and passengers affected, including those still unfortunately missing, as well as their friends and families.

This tragic incident is a sombre reminder for us all of the dangers faced by those who make a living at sea. We hope for a swift resolution to the ongoing search.
