Our grant funding supports frontline organisations and projects that provide essential help for seafarers and their families in crisis. Each grant application is assessed against our core goals to ensure the support provided to ensure that your donations go to where the need is greatest.

Fishermen's Mission
Core funding to deliver Fishermens' Mission's outreach service, along with a capacity-building grant to implement a new IT platform to merge and streamline service delivery and fundraising operations.
Amount awarded: £146,000
Queen Victoria Seamen's Rest (QVSR)
Funding to supplement the provision of QVSR's accommodation and welfare support for active and retired seafarers and their dependants at the hostel in East India Dock Road.
Amount awarded: £40,000
Cobhair Bharraigh SCIO
Funding to support the delivery of services at Cobhair Bharriagh to improve the quality of life for elderly seafarers living with mental, physical or sensory impairment who are isolated, lonely or frail in the Western Isles, Scotland.
Amount awarded: £15,000
Age UK
Funding for continued support of the Age UK Telephone Friendship Service for retired Seafarers, formerly known as the Silver Line service.
Amount awarded: £27,000
The Workboat Association
Funding for the production of a range of flash cards to be used to train and test seafarers on emergency response vessels.
Amount awarded: £500
Merchant Navy Welfare Board
Annual contribution towards the Merchant Navy Medal Fund.
Amount awarded: £100
